Biography
Dr. Christine Platt, PhD, DNP, FNP-C has been a provider at Parkinson Dermatology since 2014. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota and worked as an intensive care nurse for 10 years. She then completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Brigham Young University and earned her doctoral degrees (PhD and DNP) from the University of Arizona. Dr. Platt completed a postdoctoral fellowship through the University of Utah School of Medicine, working on cancer research and families with chronic illnesses. As part of giving back to her community and profession, she enjoys teaches the next generation of nurse practitioners at BYU. She loves caring for and guiding patients through all their dermatological needs. Dr. Platt specializes in family dermatology including pediatric conditions, acne, rashes, diagnosing/treating skin cancers, aging/geriatric skin conditions, infectious disease, and cosmetic dermatology (Botox, fillers, and laser treatments). She and her husband have 3 sons and 3 daughters together.
